The Drywall Interior Systems Contractors Association, Inc. of New Jersey (DISCA) has established a scholarship program to help defer the college and other educational costs of the children and grandchildren of management employees of companies contributing to the DISCA Industry Promotion Fund (IPF) who plan to or are pursuing a two or four year education at an accredited college, university or vocational school.
The natural or legally adopted child, grandchild, stepchild or step grandchild of a management employee of a company contributing to the DISCA Industry Promotion Fund. The contributing company must be in good standing and the employee must have a minimum of one year of full-time service with the company.
A high school student who plans to enroll in, or a student presently attending, a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-or four-year college, university, or vocational technical school with a minimum of 12 credits per semester.
No more than two scholarship recipients per Industry Promotion Fund contributing company will be selected per year. Employee eligibility must be certified by the employing company.
*Should you not meet the criteria one semester, you will need to reapply for the scholarship the following year.
