Purpose:

To represent DISCA contractor members' interests with respect to any and all collective bargaining agreements with labor organizations in the interior/exterior wall, ceiling, or related systems industry in the State of New Jersey and regions covered in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Purpose:

To help plan, promote and execute events that keep the DISCA membership informed and make an impact on union construction in New Jersey.

Purpose:

To identify candidates who will make productive leaders on the DISCA Board of Directors; to identify possible candidates for elected office (President, Vice President, Treasurer) or appointment to the DISCA Executive Board. Officers shall be elected by the Board of Directors from amongst its members at the Annual Meeting of Membership. Three Directors shall be elected for a (3) year term by plurality vote of the Membership at the Annual Membership Meeting.

Purpose:

To be responsible for the prudent management of the Sustainability Portfolio. The Committee shall have the exclusive authority to establish, execute and interpret an investment policy statement for the Portfolio. The Committee shall be solely responsible for the selection and retention of professional advisors to the Portfolio, which may include, but not be limited to investment managers, investment consultants, custodians, attorneys, accountants, and clerical staff.

Purpose:

To coordinate DISCA's participation at the annual Construction Industry Career Day.

Purpose:

To recommend destinations and educational programs that meet DISCA's criteria for an executive conference.

Purpose:

To recommend the venue and date of the annual Excellence in Construction Awards & Gala event and to select the award recipients.

Purpose:

To recommend several venues, dates, gifts and awards for the annual golf outing.

Purpose:

To ensure the DISCA Scholarship program is being fairly and properly administered.

To review the anonymous applications and determine if the applicant is eligible for the grant request and the dollar amount.
